Nora only uses the permissions it’s given, doesn’t do anything outside its purpose, and keeps control with the server owner.
Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By inviting, accessing, or using Nora ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Discord’s Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use Nora.
2. Description of Service
Nora is an AI-powered moderation, utility, and community management bot for Discord. Features may include moderation tools, AI assistance, leveling systems, welcome notifications, logging, and server configuration utilities.
3. Eligibility
You must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Server owners and administrators are responsible for ensuring Nora is used lawfully within their server.
4. Server Administrator Responsibility
Server owners and authorized moderators are solely responsible for configuring Nora, enabling or disabling features, assigning permissions, and managing how Nora operates within their server.
5. AI & Automated Features
Nora may provide AI-generated suggestions or automated moderation actions. These are provided for assistance only. Human moderators retain full authority and responsibility for moderation decisions.
6. Leveling & Engagement Systems
If enabled, Nora’s leveling system processes minimal activity-related data (such as message counts or event triggers) strictly within the server to calculate progression. Leveling data is isolated per server and not shared across servers.
7. Welcome & Event Features
When the welcomer feature is enabled via commands (e.g., set welcomer), Nora listens for member join events to send welcome messages in the configured channel. This may include mentioning the user and displaying their Discord profile image.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use Nora to violate laws, Discord policies, harass users, collect unauthorized personal data, or abuse automation features.
9. Availability & Changes
Nora is provided “as-is” without uptime guarantees. Features may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nora and its developers shall not be liable for damages, data loss, moderation outcomes, or service interruptions.
11. Termination
Access to Nora may be suspended or terminated for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
